Meet your instructor: Michelle Nussey is a writer, actress and improviser who has been working professionally for over 20 years. Currently she is a writer and performer in the weekly topical sketch show This Week This Week, directed by Ron West, and is part of the writers room for new kids episodic The Chin Show which is working towards its pilot season. Michelle has worked as head writer for the ITS Sketchy at Best newsdesk and been a writer and performer for sketch show Pretentious About Make Believe and Fever Dreams house sketch team, both at The Second City, and sketch team Volcano at The Ruby. She has performed in multiple shows over ten years at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and written and performed two solo shows, the latest of which was performed as part of the United Solo Festival in New York City. At The Groundlings, UCB and The Ruby Michelle studied sketch writing, and at The Second City she studied Late Night Comedy Writing. Michelle has a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Graduate Diploma of Education.
